Li-Ion Battery Project, Major Consumer Electronics Company
Fall 2017 - Spring 2018
*Unfortunately, the details of this project cannot be discussed in detail because of our NDA
Overview
During the fall 2017 semester, I was the project manager for a team of five students working for a major consumer electronics company to improve elements of Li-Ion batteries. Through materials research in CES (materials database), patents, and journals, we were able to develop design alternatives. In the spring of 2018, we performed mechanical testing to validate our research and propose a new laminate of materials that'd improve the longevity and safety of Li-ion batteries
Skills
CES material database, ASTM standards, project management.
